Questions, answered

HEIC to JPG questions

How do I convert HEIC to JPEG?

Choose your HEIC photos above and click Convert to JPG. The first time, the page downloads a small HEIC reader (about 1.5 MB); after that each photo converts in a second or two. JPG and JPEG are the same format.

Is this HEIC JPG converter free?

Yes, completely free, with no sign-up and no watermark. Convert up to 50 photos at a time, as often as you like.

Why does my iPhone save photos as HEIC?

HEIC photos take about half the space of JPGs at the same quality, so iPhones use them by default. To get JPGs from the camera instead, choose Settings > Camera > Formats > Most Compatible.

Will I lose quality?

With High quality the JPG looks the same as the original to the eye, and it opens on every computer, website and printer.

Are my photos uploaded?

No. Everything happens in your browser on your own device.
