Questions, answered

Crop image questions

How do I crop a picture into a circle?

Choose "Circle (profile photo)" as the shape, move the box over the face and click Crop image. You get a round PNG with transparent corners.

Can I crop to an exact size in pixels?

Yes. Type the width, height and position in the boxes under the picture, or pick a ready-made size like Instagram post (1080 x 1080).

Does cropping reduce quality?

No. The part you keep stays at full resolution. Only the social media sizes resize the result to the exact pixels those sites use.

Is my picture uploaded?

No. Cropping happens in your browser on your own device.
