Questions, answered

Resize image questions

Will resizing make my picture blurry?

Making a picture smaller keeps it sharp. Making it bigger can only stretch the pixels it has, so it may look soft; that is why "Don't make pictures bigger" is on by default.

How do I resize without stretching?

Leave "Keep proportions" ticked. The picture then fits inside the width and height you type. Fill in only one box and the other side follows automatically.

Can I resize to an exact size like 600 x 600?

Yes. Untick "Keep proportions" and type both numbers. If the picture has a different shape it will be stretched to fit, so crop it first if you need a square picture.

Are my pictures uploaded?

No. Your browser resizes them on your own device and saves them straight back to it.
