How much smaller will my PDF get?
PDFs full of photos or scans often shrink by 50 to 90 percent. PDFs that are mostly text are usually small already and may barely change.
Which level should I choose?
Recommended for email and uploads, Strong when the file only has to be read on screen, and Light when you will print it or need every detail of the photos.
Are my files uploaded?
No. The PDF is compressed by your browser on your own device and saved straight back to it.
Can I compress a password-protected or signed PDF?
Remove the password first with Unlock PDF. A digitally signed PDF can be compressed, but any change to the file ends its digital signature, so sign it again afterwards if you need one.
