PDF to PNG questions

How do I convert a PDF to PNG?

Choose your PDF above, keep PNG selected, pick the quality and click Convert to PNG. The images are made by your browser, so nothing is uploaded.

PNG or JPG: which is better for a PDF page?

PNG for pages with text, tables and drawings: it stays perfectly sharp. JPG for pages that are mostly photos: the files are much smaller. You can switch in the same list.

Can I convert only one page?

Yes. Choose "Only these pages" and type the page number, for example 4, or several like 1, 3-5.

Why are the PNG files bigger than JPG?

PNG keeps every pixel exactly. That is what keeps text sharp, but it makes photo-heavy pages larger. Choose JPG for those.
