Why use it

Add page numbers with ToolsCampus

Private by design

Your files never leave your device. Everything happens in your browser, so nothing is uploaded or stored on our servers.

Right on every page

Numbers are placed by how each page is shown, so they also sit correctly on landscape and rotated pages.

Real text

Numbers are added as real text, not pictures, so they print sharply at any size.

Questions, answered

Add page numbers questions

Can I leave the cover page without a number?

Yes. Tick "Skip the first page". Numbering then starts on page 2, using the first number you chose.

Can I start from a number other than 1?

Yes. Set "First number" to any number, which is useful when the PDF is one part of a longer document.

Which formats are available?

"1", "Page 1", "Page 1 of 10", "1 / 10" and "- 1 -".

Will the numbers cover my content?

Numbers sit about 1 cm from the edge, where most documents have a margin. If a page has content there, try the other position.
