Does JPG to PNG make the background transparent?
No. A JPG has no transparency, so the PNG looks exactly the same, background included. Removing a background is a different job.
Why is my PNG bigger than the JPG?
PNG keeps every pixel exactly, so photos saved as PNG are often several times bigger. For photos on websites, WebP is usually the better choice.
How do I make a GIF from photos?
Choose two or more photos, pick GIF, tick "Make one animated GIF", set the speed and click Convert pictures. The order of your list is the order of the animation.
Are my pictures uploaded?
No. Your browser converts them on your own device.
