Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. This page lists the cookies ToolsCampus uses, explains the other files our tools keep in your browser, and tells you how to control them. It applies from 10 October 2026 and should be read with our Privacy Policy.
Your choice
Essential cookies are always on because the site cannot work without them. Analytics and advertising cookies need your choice:
- In the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland, you see Google’s consent message. It is a Google-certified consent management platform, provided through Google’s Privacy & messaging, and it asks for your choice about cookies and personalised ads.
- In other places, you may see our own cookie banner. We remember that choice for 6 months and then ask again.
You can change your choice at any time with the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page. It opens the consent message or banner again.

Ads may appear on content pages such as the homepage, tool pages, guides and site pages, never inside the editor or My Files. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet. You can opt out of personalised advertising in Google Ads Settings or at www.aboutads.info. To learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services, see How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services. Google’s own list of the cookies it uses is at policies.google.com/technologies/cookies.
AI model files in your browser (not cookies)
The Remove background tool and the Thumbnail maker’s AI cut-out use an AI model that runs on your device. The first time you use it, your browser downloads the model files from our website and keeps them in its Cache Storage, so the tool starts at once on later visits. Some other tool files, such as the text recognition engine used by OCR, may also be kept by your browser so they do not download again.
These are program files, not cookies. They contain no personal information and nothing about your photos or documents, they are not sent back to us, and they are not used for tracking or ads. They take some space on your device. To remove them, delete the stored data for this site in your browser settings (usually called “site data” or “cookies and site data”). If you do, the model simply downloads again the next time you use the tool.
Controlling cookies in your browser
Most browsers let you see, block and delete cookies in their settings. If you block essential cookies you will not be able to log in, and files uploaded to the editor without an account will not reopen. Blocking analytics or advertising cookies does not stop any tool from working.
Changes
If we add or remove cookies, we will update this page and its date. If we add a new kind of cookie that needs consent, we will ask you again.
