Who writes ToolsCampus guides, and how they are tested, written, updated and corrected.

Our guides exist to help you finish a real task with a PDF or a picture: fill a form, sign it, combine or split files, make a photo smaller, remove a background, make a collage or make a thumbnail. This page explains who writes them, how we test them and how we keep them accurate.

What we write about

We write about problems people actually search for, such as signing a PDF without printing, making a scanned PDF searchable, turning an iPhone photo into a JPG, or getting a picture under an upload limit. Each guide aims to give the answer in the first few lines, then the full steps.

Who writes the guides

Every guide is written by Omer Qureshi, who built and runs ToolsCampus. Omer Qureshi writes the guides and tests their steps on the site’s tools. His name is shown on every guide, with a short note about him and a link to our About page.

How we test

  • Steps for ToolsCampus are checked against the live tools before a guide is published: the PDF editor, the PDF tools and the image tools, using the same buttons and options the guide describes.
  • Steps for other apps (for example Preview on Mac, Markup on iPhone or Microsoft Edge on Windows) are checked against the app maker’s own help pages and, wherever we can, tried on a real device.
  • Facts that come from other services, such as recommended image sizes, are checked against that service’s own help pages when the guide is written.
  • Screenshots and infographics show the real steps, simplified where needed so they are easy to follow.

Fair and independent

We explain free, built-in options (like Preview or Microsoft Edge) alongside our own tools, and say when another option is better for a job. Nobody pays us to include or recommend a product. Ads on the site are chosen by the ad network and do not affect what we write.

How guides are written

Omer Qureshi may use AI writing tools to help with a first draft or to check wording. Every guide is then checked by Omer Qureshi against the live tools before it is published, and he is responsible for what it says. Where a guide describes one of our AI features, it explains plainly what the AI does and where it can go wrong. We write in plain language and avoid jargon.

Updates

Our tools and other apps change, so we update guides when a tool changes and when readers tell us something is different. Each guide shows the date it was published and, when it has been changed, the date it was last updated.

Corrections

If you find a mistake or a step that no longer works, please email umerqureshi85@gmail.com or use our Contact page, with the page address. We check every report. If the guide is wrong, we correct it and change its “last updated” date.

Who is responsible

ToolsCampus and its guides are published by Omer Qureshi, Pakistan. Read more about us.
